Dear Mrs. Ayalew,
The Planning Division has conditionally approved your sign application (PLN2009-158) to add
additional signage to an existing non-illuminated monument sign. The proposed monument sign
consists of three individual sign areas including an existing 18 sq. ft. "Campbell Community
Church of Prophecy" sign, an existing 9 sq. ft. sign identifying an Asian church group on site, and a
new 12 sq. ft. "AB's Preschool & Daycare" sign identifying a recently established childcare use on
site. The existing and proposed signage totals 39 sq. ft. where 40 sq. ft. is the maximum.
This Sign Permit has been approved subject to the following Conditions of Approval:
1. The applicant shall obtain any necessary building permits from the Building Division prior to
the signage installation.
2. The proposed signs shall be fabricated and installed per the approved plans dated as received on
December 18, 2009.
3. The signage shall be maintained in good condition at all times and shall be repaired or replaced
as necessary.

Dear Mrs. Ayalew,
Thank you for your submittal of a Sign Permit application to modify an existing monument sign to
include an additional panel identifying the new preschool use located at the above referenced
address. After review, I am unable to approve the signage as presented based on the following
issues:
1. Maximum Square Footage: The maximum square footage of all signage allowed on site for a
place of public worship shall not exceed 40 square feet. Please provide the square footage of
all existing signage on site, including both monument and wall signage.
2. Property Owner Si ng ature: Prior to sign permit approval, you are required to provide an
application signed by the property owner or by the representative of the property owner
authorized to sign on their behalf. I have enclosed a copy of your incomplete application form.
In order for Sign Permit application approval, please submit revised plans and a completed sign
permit application by no later than January 8, 2010. If the required documents are not received by
January 8, 2010, this application will be denied and a future sign request will require a new
application and the payment of additional fees. Should you have any questions or comments, please
