Tree Removal Permit - 2009January 4, 2010 Joshua Larson Ainsley Square HOA 1935 Dry Creek Road Campbell, CA 95008 Re: File No: PLN2009-152 Address: Between 56 & 58 Waterford Ct. Application: Tree Removal Permit Dear Applicant: The Community Development Director has conditionally approved your Tree Removal Permit application (PLN2009-152) for the removal of one (1) 8-inch. diameter Bradford Pear tree located on property within the common area of the above Planned Development. Your request has been approved subject to the following Condition of Approval: The applicant shall plant one (1) 24-inch box tree following either replant option 1 or 2. The replacement tree shall be planted within 30 days of the effective date of this approval, unless accepted horticultural practices dictate a preferential planting period for the species chosen as a replacement tree. The Tree Removal Permit has been approved based upon the City's determination, with a supporting recommendation by a Certified Arborist, that due to stress received from its original location of planting, the tree has been weakened by disease and is subject to failing, which risks damage to adjacent property. This approval is final in 10 calendar days of the Community Development Director's decision, unless an appeal is received in writing at the City of Campbell City Clerk's Office, on or before January 14, 2009. If an appeal is received, you will be immediately notified of its receipt. Otherwise, you may remove the subject tree at the close of the appeal period. If you have any questions regarding this approval, please contact me at (408) 866-2142 or via email at stevep@cityofcampbell.com.
