Subject: Outdoor Painting Follow up
Dear Mr. Moulton,
This letter is to follow up on our conversion of two weeks ago that was initiated by a report of outdoor
painting of vehicles at the Campbell DentPro, located at 2205 S. Winchester Boulevard. Staffs research
revealed that the operation of this DentPro is restricted by its Conditional Use Permit, granted by the City
Council in 1999. This approval limits activities of this location to dent repair requiring no pounding,
painting, or sanding. This includes indoor and outdoor painting and mobile painting done on site. This
restriction is codified in the enclosed City Council resolution as Condition of Approval No. 1. This
restriction was placed on the business in accordance with the operational plan presented to the City by
DentPro.
As we discussed, due to the change in allowable land-uses along Winchester Boulevard, there is no
opportunity to modify or remove this restriction. As such, DentPro must immediately cease all painting
activity and any other activity in violation of the Conditional Use Permit. If further reports of unpermitted
painting are forwarded to the City, this issue will immediately be referred to the Code Enforcement Officer
for enforcement action, including, but not limited to possible revocation of the Use Permit.
If you should have any questions, please contact me at. (408) 866-2193 or by email at
