Application: Tree Removal Permit
Dear Ms. Hoffman,
On April 16, 2010, the Community Development Director conditionally approved your Tree
Removal Permit application (PLN2009-34) for the removal of one (1) 17.5-inch diameter Redwood
tree located in the rear yard of property at the above referenced address.
Your request has been approved subject to the following Condition of Approval:
The applicant shall plant one (1) 24-inch box Autumn Blaze Maple tree to be planted as
shown on the submitted replanting plan. The replacement tree shall be planted within 30
days of the effective date of this approval, unless accepted horticultural practices dictate a
preferential planting period for the species chosen as a replacement tree.
The Tree Removal Permit has been approved based upon the City's determination, with a supporting
recommendation by a Certified Arborist, that the tree presents a threat to property and human safety
due to a danger of falling. This approval is final in 10 calendar days of the Community Development
Director's decision, unless an appeal is received in writing at the City of Campbell City Clerk's Office,
on or before April 26, 2010. If an appeal is received, you will be immediately notified of its receipt.
Otherwise, you may remove the subject tree at the close of the 10 day appeal period.
If you have any questions regarding this approval, please contact me at (408) 866-2193 or via email at
