Murphy Street Sunnyvale, CA 94086 Re: BLD2009-00113 ~ Exterior Changes to Existing Building BLD2009-00749 ~ Tenant Improvement for New Salon 18 North First Street Dear Mr. Gera, The City of Campbell Planning Division has completed an inspection of your property in preparation of providing clearance for the proposed Salon tenant. There a few outstanding issues for you to address in order to complete work on both the exterior remodel and the interior tenant improvement. In order for your proposed tenant to begin operations and limit any delay, the City has agreed to provide planning sign off on the tenant improvement with your acknowledgement and agreement that the following issues be resolved within the next 30 days. The following items remain outstanding: 1. Utility Tunction Box: Paint the existing utility junction box located on the west elevation wall under the eave line to match building exterior. 2. Trash Enclosure: Construct a trash enclosure area between the PG&E transformer and the ground mounted mechanical equipment screened area to allow storage of refuse and recycling containers out of public view. 3. Transfor>ner and Trash Enclosure Screening: Construct a solid barrier to screen the recently installed PG&E transformer and ne~v trash storage area from public view from both the west side (First Street) and the north side (driveway and Civic Center Drive) as discussed with Paul Kermoyan, Planning Manager. 4. Backflo~n~ Preventers: Enclose the new backflow preventers located along First Street in an industry standard cover. Tenant Improvement Planning Clearance -18 N. First Street Page 2 5. Landscaping: Provide landscaping consisting of low growing shrubs of your choice between the sidewalk and existing (and proposed) screen walls along First Street.
