To Whom It May Concern:
This letter is in response to your April 13, 2010, request for Zoning Clearance
confirming your ability to provide licensed Speech and Occupational Therapy health
practitioner's services to children with special needs as a requirement to be certified as a
Non-Public Agency with the California Department of Education located at 621 E.
Campbell Avenue, Suite 11 A.
Zoning and General Plan Land Use: 621 E. Campbell Avenue is currently zoned P-D
(Planned-Development). The Planned Development Zoning District regulations do not
specifically list allowable land uses. Instead, allowable uses are determined by
referencing the zoning district which corresponds with the General Plan land-use
designation. The subject property has a General Plan land-use designation of Central
Commercial, therefore allowable uses are those set forth in the C-3 (Central
Commercial) Zoning District.
On July 20, 1964, the City of Campbell approved the construction of a Medical Office
(S64-33) development located at 621 E. Campbell Avenue. As the Speech and
Occupational Therapy use is considered a medical office use within the City of
Campbell, As Children Blossom Therapy Center has been determined to be a permitted
use and may continue its lawful operation accordingly, subject to the requirement of
maintaining a valid City Business License.
