Dear Mr. Mullen,
The Planning Division has conditionally approved your Outdoor Seating Permit application
(PLN2010-176) for Willow Glen Frozen Yogurt and Ice Cream at Campbell, located at 267
E. Campbell Avenue. Your application has been approved subject to the following
Conditions of Approval:
1. The applicant shall obtain a Cith of Campbell business license for Willow Glen Frozen
Yogurt and Ice Cream at Campbell prior to the installation of the approved outdoor
seating.
2. The outdoor seating shall substantially conform to t'he approved site plan dated as
received on July 9, 2010 as well as the detail drawings of the seats, tables, and umbrellas
dated as received on August 11, 2010. Outdoor seating is lunited to eight (8) seats and
four (4) tables.
3. Afour-foot-wide pedestrian walkway- shall be maintained at all times along t:he public
sidewalk. This walkway shall provide for pedestrian access to doorways, crosswalks, and
along the public sidewalk.
4. One (1) trash receptacle shall be provided by Willow Glen Frozen Yogurt and Ice Cream
at Campbell within the outdoor furniture area. This trash receptacle shall match the
outdoor seating furniture and shall be located and maintained in the entryevay adjacent to
the storefront within the enclosure created by the mobile planters. At no time shall the
outdoor seating be in place without the required trash receptacle.
5. All litter shall be picked up immediately and the tables cleaned promptly. Willow Glen
Frozen Yogurt and Ice Cream at Campbell is responsible for the clean up of all litter

associated with the business. Litter removal may extend beyond the boundaries of the
business frontage.
6. All spills shall be cleaned immediately and the sidewalk shall be pressure washed as
necessary or as required by the Community Development Director or Public Works
Director.
7. <~ll outdoor furniture, including the trash receptacle, shall be kept clean and in good
repair and replaced and/or fixed as necessary.
8. All tables, seats, displays, and the additional trash can located within the mobile planters
shall be placed inside at the end of each business day.
9. The canopies of the umbrellas associated with an~~ outdoor tables shall maintain a
minimum vertical clearance of seven feet. No signage of any kind is allowed on the
canopies of these umbrellas.
10. If the insurance policy described in the submitted Certificate of Insurance is canceled,
terminated, suspended, or materially changed, the outdoor seating and display permit
shall be suspended until such time that compliance with the requirements of this
subparagraph has been fully satisfied.
