Application: Tree Removal Permit
Dear Mr. Venture,
On April 16, 2010 the Community Development Director conditionally approved your Tree Removal Permit
application (PLN2009-37) for the removal of six London Plane trees located within the Cambridge Park
community in front of properties located at 525/514/516 Plum Blossom Lane, 315 Apple Blossom Lane, and
535/556 Cherry Blossom Lane.
Your request has been approved subject to the following Condition of Approval
The applicant shall plant six replacement trees (Aristocrat Pear, Raywood Ash, and Purpleleaf
Plum) as shown on the submitted replanting plan. The replacement trees shall be planted within 30
days of the effective date of this approval, unless accepted horticultural practices dictate a
preferential planting period for the species chosen as replacement trees.
The Tree Removal Permit has been approved based upon the City's determination, with a supporting
recommendation by a Certified Arborist, that the trees are currently causing and/or pose a threat of damage to
building foundations, sidewalks, water meters, and utility cabinets. It has further been deternlined that these
issues cannot adequately be solved through root pruning as it would potentially jeopardize the health and
stability of the trees.
sThis approval is final in 10 calendar days of the Community Development Director's decision, unless an appeal
is received in writing at the City of Campbell City Clerk's Office, on or before April 26, 2010. If an appeal is
received, you will be immediately notified of its receipt. Otherwise, you may remove the subject tree at the close
of the 10 day appeal period.
If you have any questions regarding this approval, please contact me at (408) 866-2193 or via email at
