NEW BUSINESS
1. 91 S. Second Street: Review of a proposal for the addition of a dormer on the
southern elevation of an existing roofline, currently under construction for a roof
replacement, of the residence known as the James Henry and Jessie Campbell
House, owned by Joseph Russo (Attachment).
2. Fiscal Year 09/10 Work Plan Items:
potential Historic Preservation work

OLD BUSINESS
1. Campbell Water Tower: Update from Senior Museum Specialist Karen Lange
regarding Campbell Water Tower grant.
2. East Campbell Avenue Plan: Update from Senior Civil Engineer Lisa Peterson
regarding the approval of Public Art and modifications to the East Campbell Avenue
bridge (Attachment).
3. Heritage Trees: Review survey results of prioritized private trees and recommend to
staff which tree owners should be contacted to obtain authorization to nominate as a
Heritage Tree along with the White Ash nominated as a public tree. Public Hearing
for Heritage Tree designation tentatively scheduled for March 25, 2009
(Attachment).
4. 109 South Forth Street: Update on status (Attachment).
ANNOUNCEMENTS/COMMUNICATIONS
1. Mandatory Ethics Training for Local Agency Officials: As local agency officials,
members of the Historic Preservation Board are required to receive a minimum of
two hours of ethics training every two years and provide certification of said training
to the City Clerk for public record retention. See attached flyer for an available
website where you can obtain this training at no cost and for which certification is
provided upon completion of the course. Staff recommends you complete this
training by April 1St. (Attachment).
2. Joint Historic Preservation Board/ Parks and Recreation Commission Study Session:
The Joint Historic Preservation/ Parks and Recreation Commission Study Session is
scheduled for Monday, March 2, 2009, at 6:00 p.m. in the alcove in the City Council
Chambers. Study Session reference materials will be distributed by February 25,
2009.
