Resolution No. 2010-01 - not signedRESOLUTION N0.2010-01 BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION BOARD OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL BESTOWING HERITAGE TREE DESIGNATION UPON A 40-INCH IN DIAMETER, 45 YEAR OLD COAST REDWOOD TREE ON PROPERTY OWNED BY THE CITY OF CAMPBELL LOCATED AT 540 W. RINCON AVENUE IN .A P-F/O-S (PUBLIC FACILITIES/OPEN SPACE) ZONING DISTRIC"C. APPLICATION OF CITY OF CAMPBELL. FILE NO. PLN2010-112. After notification and public hearing, as specified by law, and after presentation by the City of Campbell Planning Division, proponents and opponents, the hearing was closed. After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Historic Preservation Board did find as follows with respect to application PLN2010-112: 1. This 40-inch diameter, 45-year-old Coast Redwood tree represents an outstanding specimen of a desirable species. 2. This 40-inch diameter, 45-year-old Coast Redwood tree is one of significant age and/or girth in the City of Campbell. 3. This 40-inch diameter, 45-year-old Coast Redwood tree is associated with the historical heritage of the City of Campbell. Based on the foregoing findings of fact, the Historic Preservation Board further finds and concludes that: 1. The Tree is unique and important to the Community; and 2. No substantial evidence has been presented from which a reasonable argument could be made that shows that the Heritage Tree Designation will have a significant adverse impact on the environment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Historic Preservation Board bestows Heritage Tree Designation (PLN2010-112) upon a 40-inch diameter, 45-year-old Coast Redwood tree on property owned by City of Campbell located at 540 W.
