Dear Bob & Melissa:
Campbell's Historic Preservation Boazd has successfully completed its "Campbell 2000,
Honoring Our Heritage" calendar project. Our success, in lazge part, was due to support
from local businesses, merchants, and volunteers like you, who agreed to distribute our
calendaz and collect donations.
With your support we achieved our goal to distribute 1000 calendars. In total, we
collected $9522.00. Proceeds will go toward the restoration of the Heritage Theatre,
located on the corner of Winchester Boulevard and Campbell Avenue.
In addition to fulfilling our primary objective, we were able to donate several hundred
calendazs to the Campbell Union School District. This means that every third-grade
student, and teacher, in the district will receive one of our heirloom calendars.
We could not have accomplished these goals without your help. We thank you for
supporting Campbell's historic preservation efforts and the community.
Mark your calendaz and watch for an invitation to attend our Historic Preservation Boazd
Annual Tea scheduled for Wednesday, May 17, 2000.
Sincerely,
HISTORIC PRESERVATION BOARD

Dear Member Business of the Campbell Chamber of Commerce:
On behalf of the Historic Preservation Board, I would like to offer you an opportunity to
obtain copies of the Campbe112000 Honoring Our Heritage calendar at a reduced rate.
We have been accepting $10 donations per calendar. However, for the business owners
who belong to the Chamber of Commerce, we offer a two for one opportunity. For a
minimum donation of $100, you would receive 20 calendars. These calendars could be
offered as a gift to your key customers, clients and employees. Those who purchase
calendars will also be enrolled as a member of the Friends of the Heritage Theater. The
proceeds from the calendars will be donated to the Friends of the Heritage Theater for use
in the refurbishing of that historic building.
If you are interested in purchasing 20 calendars or more, please contact the Planning
Department at (408) 866-2140 or simply mail your check, payable to the City of
Campbell, to the Community Development Department, 70 N. First Street, Campbell, CA

Sincerely,
Joanna Herz, President
