HPB Resolution No. 21RESOLUTION N0. 21 HISTORIC PRESERVATION BOARD CITY OF CAMPBELL, CALIFORNIA After notification and public hearing as specified by law on the application filed by Bruce Bowen, on behalf of Ainsley Development, for designation of the commercial building located on property known as 365 East Campbell Avenue, in a C-3-S (Central Business District) Zoning District, and after testimony by proponents and opponents, the hearing was closed. HPB 90-01. After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Historic Preservation Board did find as follows: 1. This commercial structure represents the first bank built in Campbell in 1895 and as such represents a significant commercial building of that date for this community. 2. The architectural style of this structure represents a typical commercial building at the turn of the century. 3. The building is in good condition and has not be altered significantly. Based on the above findings, the Historic Preservation Board does hereby recommend that the Planning Commission and City Council take action to designate the commercial building located on property known as 365 East Campbell Avenue, as an Historic Landmark in the City of Campbell, California.
