HPB Resolution No. 20RESOLUTION N0. 20 HISTORIC PRESERVATION BOARD CITY OF CAMPBELL, CALIFORNIA After notification and public hearing as specified by law on the application filed by Kim and Melanie Morgenthaler, to designate the residence at 73 South First Street, as an Historic Landmark, and after testimony by proponents and opponents, the hearing was closed. HPB 89-04/ZC 89-16. After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Historic Board did find as follows: 1. This structure embodies characteristics of a "Queen Anne Victorian Cottage" style o~ architecture worthy of preservation. 2. This property and residence is associated with the Swope Family, an early family in Campbell's history. Based upon the above findings, the Historic Preservation Board does hereby recommend that the Planning Commission and City Council take action to designate the residence at 73 South First Street, as a Historic Landmark in the City of Campbell, California.
