Application: Tree Removal Permit
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Banz,
The Community Development Director has approved your Tree Removal Permit application
(PLN2011-12) for the removal of one (1) Cork Oak (Quercus suber) tree located in the front
yard of your property.
Your request has been approved subject to the following Condition of Approval:
1. The applicant shall plant one (1) 36-inch box trees consistent with the submitted
replanting plan. The replacement tree shall be planted within 30 days of the effective
date of this approval, unless accepted arboricultural practices dictate a preferential
planting period for the species chosen as replacement trees.
The Tree Removal Permit has been approved based upon the City's determination-with a
supporting recommendation by a Certified Arborist-that the tree is in a state of irreversible
decline that cannot be remedied. This approval is final in 10 calendar days of the Community
Development Director's decision, unless an appeal is received in writing at the City of Campbell
City Clerk's Office, on or before February 18, 2011. If an appeal is received, you will be
immediately notified of its receipt. Otherwise, you may remove the subject tree at the close of
the 10 day appeal period.
If you have any questions regarding this approval, please contact me at (408) 866-2193 or via
email at danielf(~cit oy fcampbell.com.
