Tree Removal Permit - 2010CITY of CAMPBELL Community Development Department October 8, 2010 Property Pro, LTD. Devin Schrock 14127 Capri Drive, Suite 8 Los Gatos, CA 95032 Re: File No: PLN2010-225 Address: 517 W. Rincon Avenue Application: Tree Removal Permit Dear Mr. Schrock: On October 8, 2010, the Community Development Director conditionally approved your Tree Removal Permit application (PLN2010-225) for the removal of one (1) Evergreen Pear tree located at the above referenced address. Your request has been approved subject to the following Condition of Approval: The applicant shall plant one 24-inch box tree on or adjacent to the removal location. The replacement trees shall be of a species listed in the attached Tree Replacement List of Recommended Species. Prior to the removal of the Evergreen Pear, the applicant shall notify the City of the species of replacement tree and its proposed location by submitting a tree replanting plan. The replacement tree shall be planted within 30 days of the effective date of this approval, unless accepted horticultural practices dictate a preferential planting period for the species chosen as a replacement tree. The Tree Removal Permit has been approved based upon the City's determination, with a supporting recommendation by a Certified Arborist, that tree is severely weakened through disease, with very little to no chance for recovery even with treatment. This approval is final in 10 calendar days of the Community Development Director's decision, unless an appeal is received in writing at the City of Campbell City Clerk's Office, on or before October 18, 2010. If an appeal is received, you will be immediately notified of its receipt. Otherwise, you may remove the subject tree, once the City has approved the species and location of the required replacement tree and the 10 day appeal period has concluded. If you have any questions regarding this approval, please contact me at (408) 866-2:142 or via email at stevep@cityofcampbell.com.
