Application: Fence Exception
Dear Ms. Owen,
The Community Development Director has conditionally approved your Fence Exception application to
construct a wrought iron fence and gate with 6-foot columns along the front property line on the above
referenced property as shown on the submitted project plans. The Community Development Director has
determined that the requested Fence Exception satisfies the required findings as specified by the
Campbell Municipal Code § 21.18.060 (E).
Your request for a Fence Exception has been approved, subject to the following conditions of approval:
1. The gate and fence shall substantially conform to the approved revised site plan stamped as
received on October 24, 2011 and the revised detail drawings stamped as received on September
8, 2011.
2. The applicant shall obtain a Building Permit from the Campbell Building Division prior to
installation of the approved gate and fence.
3. The proposed 6-foot columns shall significantly match the style of the existing columns at the
walkway adjacent to the location of the proposed gate.
This approval is final in 10 calendar days of the Community Development Director's decision, unless an
appeal is received in writing at the City of Campbell City Clerk's Office by November 4, 2011. If an
appeal is received, you will be immediately notified of its receipt. Otherwise, you may commence
construction of the new fencing at the close of the 10 day appeal period.

Dear Building Department,
My clients, Ming H. Kwok and Szekay Shing, at 1099 West Parr Avenue intend to
construct a wrought iron fence and gate with posts matching the existing posts on the
property. There will be lights in the two posts bordering the entry to the driveway.
Sincerely,
Elizabeth Owen
