BEING A RESOLUTION AND ORDER OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL, COUNTY OF SANTA CLARA,
STATE OF CALIFORNIA, VACATING A PORTION OF THAT
CERTAIN PUBLIC STREET KNOWN AS GILMAN AVENUE
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Campbell, County of Santa Clara, State
of California, pursuant to the provisions of The Street Vacation Act of 1941,
did heretofore, on the 20th day of March, 1990, pass upon and adopt its
Resolution of Intention to vacate a certain portion of Gilman Avenue, a public
street in the City of Campbell, being Resolution No. 7897; and
WHEREAS, the hour of 7:30 p.m. of this 17th day of April, 1990 in the Council
Chamber at City Hall, 70 North First Street, Campbell, California are the time
and place set for hearing all persons interested in or having objections to
said proposed vacation: and
WHEREAS, the City Council of said City of Campbell finds and determines from
the evidence submitted that the portion of Gilman Avenue, a public street in
the City of Campbell, hereinafter described, be, and it is hereby, vacated
abandoned and closed to public uses, and that the portion of said Gilman Avenue
is more particularly described as follows:
All that certain real property situate in the City of Campbell, County of
Santa Clara, State of California, described as follows:
The easterly 3.00 feet of that certain parcel of land granted to the City
of Campbell by deed recorded October 9, 1964 in the office of the Recorder
of the County of Santa Clara in Book 6695 of Official Records at page 481:
Containing an area of 291 square feet.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of April 1990 by the following
vote:
AYES: Councilmember: WATSDN, KOTOWSKI, CDNANT, BURR, ASHWORTH
NOES: Councilmember: NONE
ABSENT: Councilmember: NONE
