A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) TO REPLACE
RECREATION MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE WITH ASSOCIATED SUPPORT SERVICES AND
AUTHORIZING THE FINANCE DIRECTOR TO AWARD CONTRACT
WHEREAS, replacement of the City's Recreation Management Software and Associated
Support Services are a WorkPlan Item for Information Technology and Recreation; and
WHEREAS, the existing Recreation Management Software is no longer being actively
developed by its manufacturer; and
WHEREAS, the computer hardware supporting the Recreation Management Software has
reached the end of its useful life; and
WHEREAS, at least two providers have been identified that can provide this type software in a
hosted/SaaS arrangement; and
WHEREAS, if a hosted/SaaS solution will not meet the requirements of the City, staff will return
to Council for direction and funding;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council approves issuance of an RFP and
to replace the Recreation Management Software and associated support services.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council hereby authorizes the Finance Director to
award the contract for this upgrade to the Proposer whose proposal is determined to be the
most advantageous to the City.
