A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMPBELL COMMENDING OFFICER GRACIELA MENDEZ
ON HER 20 YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
WHEREAS, Officer Mendez became a Police Officer in January 1992; and
WHEREAS, Officer Mendez is currently assigned to patrol; and
WHEREAS, Officer Mendez has served in many special assignments including Juvenile Resource
Officer, Hostage Negotiations Team, and is one of the departments Critical Incident Trained Officers;
and
WHEREAS, Officer Mendez has honorably served as a member of the Campbell Police Explorers
POST 302 for several years and was one of the Coordinators of the POST; and
WHEREAS, Officer Mendez has always had a commitment to providing excellent customer service
to the Campbell community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell recognizes
and commends Officer Graciela Mendez on her retirement from the City of Campbell after 20 years of
service.
