A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMPBELL COMMENDING OFFICER PHILIP TEJERO
ON HIS 31 YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
WHEREAS, Officer Tejero became a Reserve Police Officer in June 1981 and a Police Officer in
June 1987; and
WHEREAS, Officer Tejero is currently the Recruit Training Officer at the Police Academy; and
WHEREAS, Officer Tejero has served in many special assignments including Field Training
Officer, Robbery/Homicide Investigator, Defensive Tactics Instructor, D.A.R.E Instructor, and Range
Master; and
WHEREAS, Officer Tejero has honorably served as a member of the Special Weapons and
Tactics Team for over 20 years and was a Sniper Team Leader for the majority of that time; and
WHEREAS, Officer Tejero has always had a commitment to providing excellent service to the
Campbell community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell recognizes
and commends Officer Philip Tejero on his retirement from the City of Campbell after 31 years of
service.
