A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS
SUPERINTENDENT TO RENEW THE CONTRACT WITH SIGNIFICANT CLEANING
FOR FOUR YEARS AND APPROVE AN EXTENSION FOR THE EXISTING
JANITORIAL SERVICES FOR THE CAMPBELL COMMUNITY CENTER
AND HERITAGE THEATRE
WHEREAS, On November 18, 2008, the City Council adopted Resolution 10963,
approving the specifications and call for bids for janitorial services to be provided at the
Community Center and the Heritage Theatre, and
WHEREAS, on November 18, 2008, Council authorized the Director of Recreation and
Community Services to award the contract for above-named facilities, and
WHEREAS, staff prepared janitorial specifications and executed a call for bids, and
WHEREAS, Significant Cleaning was the lowest responsible bidder, and
WHEREAS, the language included in the specifications called for afour-year contract,
with the option of an additional four-year extension of the contract with mutual consent
of both parties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Campbell
adopt the attached resolution authorizing the Public Works Superintendent to renew a
four-year contract with Significant Cleaning for providing janitorial services at the
Campbell Community Center and the Heritage Theatre.
