A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
COMMENDING RECREATION SUPERVISOR JOHN ARAUJO FOR
HIS 31 YEARS OF SERVICE
WHEREAS, Mr. Araujo became an employee of the Recreation and Community
Services Department in December, 1987; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Araujo continues to be employed by the City of Campbell as a
Recreation Supervisor; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Araujo has demonstrated a deep commitment to public service and
been instrumental in the development of many successful programs within the
Department; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Araujo has contributed to the advancement of the recreation
profession, both in Campbell and throughout the Bay Area, through his involvement in
various professional organizations such as SANCRA and CPRS;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
recognizes and commends Mr. Araujo on his retirement from the City of Campbell after
31 years of service.
