A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF A WEBSITE CONTENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
AND AUTHORIZING THE FINANCE DIRECTOR TO ENTER
INTO AN AGREEMENT FOR THIS SERVICE
WHEREAS, the City's website is the primary digital repository of content available to the public;
and
WHEREAS, the last major revision to the City's website took place in 2006; and
WHEREAS, technology has evolved significantly since 2006, and Content Management
Systems are now the norm for website management; and
WHEREAS, a Content Management System will allow staff to update information and link to
other resources; and
WHEREAS, two providers of Content Management Systems have been identified and are on
the California Multiple Award Schedule.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell does
hereby approve the implementation of a website Content Management System.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council authorizes the Finance Director to enter into
an agreement for this service.
