BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL CONGRATULATING
PAMELA FINCH, 2012 CITIZEN OF THE YEAR
WHEREAS, Pamela Finch has been selected by the Campbell Chamber of Commerce
as 2012 Citizen of the Year in recognition of many years of volunteer service to the
Campbell community, and will be honored at the annual "Celebrate Campbell" banquet
on March 23, 2013; and
WHEREAS, Pamela Finch is the immediate Past President of the Campbell Chamber
of Commerce and has held several positions on the Chamber Board; and
WHEREAS, Pamela Finch has an impressive record of volunteerism in the Campbell
community including scheduling of volunteers at the Chamber's two festivals, "Boogie
on the Bayou" and "Oktoberfest;" and
WHEREAS, for several years, Pamela Finch has volunteered on the Carol of Lights
Committee including fundraising to support the event; and
WHEREAS, Pamela Finch is a current member of the City of Campbell Planning
Commission, Campbell Country Woman's Club and the Santa Clara County Association
of Realtors Leadership Development Committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
congratulate Pamela Finch on being named Campbell's 2012 Citizen of the Year and
recognize her service to the Campbell community and continued involvement in
community and civic projects.
