BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMPBELL APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS AND CALLING FOR BIDS FOR
JANITORIAL SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED FOR CITY PARKS RESTROOMS
WHEREAS, the existing contracts for janitorial services will expire on
June 30, 2013; and
WHEREAS, staff has prepared janitorial specifications and a Call for Bids.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby approve the
janitorial specifications, authorizes a Call for Bids for said janitorial services and
authorize the Public Works Superintendent to award the contract for janitorial services
to the above-named facilities; It is further recommended that the City Council authorize
the Public Works Superintendent to award this contract, with the option of extending the
contract for an additional 4 years, upon mutual agreement between the City and the
lowest responsible bidder.
