A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF RECREATION AND COMMUNITY SERVICES
TO ISSUE A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
FOR YOUTH MUSIC AND YOUTH SOCCER RECREATION CLASSES AND TO
AWARD CONTRACTS TO SELECTED BIDDERS
WHEREAS, the community classes are revenue based and expenses associated with
the program are funded in the annual Recreation and Community Services, Special
Interest and Sports, Aquatics, and Fitness Budgets; and
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell's Purchasing Policy requires an RFP pursuant to CMC
section 3.20.091; and
WHEREAS, the participation in youth music and youth soccer contracted classes are
continuing to increase and the contracts will exceed the purchasing threshold;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council authorizes the Director of
Recreation and Community Services to issue an RFP for professional services for youth
music and youth soccer recreation classes and to award contracts to selected bidders.
