A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING_THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE
AGREEMENTS FOR ON-CALL SURVEYING AND ENGINEERING SERVICES
WHEREAS, the release of an RFP for City Surveyor and Surveying Services was
authorized by City Council in February 2013; and
WHEREAS, five proposals were received and evaluated by staff; and
WHEREAS, the firm of CSG was selected to be the most qualified to provide City Land
Surveyor Services for the City and a contract was executed with CSG to provide those
services; and
WHEREAS, the RFP also included the ability of the proposers to provide surveying
assistance related to the design of City projects; and
WHEREAS, the City frequently has the need for project related surveying services; and
WHEREAS, these services could most expeditiously and effectively be provided by an
on-call surveying consultant; and
WHEREAS, staff found the firms of Sandis and Undewood & Rosenblum, Inc., to be
the most qualified to provide the City with on-call project related surveying services:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
hereby authorizes the Public Works Director to execute consultant services agreements
with Sandis and Underwood & Rosenblum Inc., each for a not to exceed amount of
$150,000 and for a term of three years, with the authorization to extend the term for a
maximum additional 3 year period.
