CC Ordinance 2170 ORDINANCE NO. 2i~o BEING AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL APPROVING A TEXT AMENDMENT TO UPDATE CAMPBELL MUNICIPAL CODE CHAPTER 18.32 (Reserved) After notification and public hearing, as specified by law and after presentation by the Building Official, proponents and opponents, the hearing was closed. After due consideration of all evidence presented, the City Council of the City of Campbell does ordain as follows: SECTION ONE: This ordinance is intended to implement rather than modify or change any of the requirements contained in the California Building Standards Code and the other regulations adopted pursuant to Section 17922. As such,'the provisions of this ordinance are declaratory of existing law. SECTION TWO: Chapter 18.32 of the Campbell Municipal Code is hereby amended as set forth in Exhibit A attached. Additions are indicated by bold italics text and deletions are indicated by °'•'~^ '~~^•~^~ '••^^: Portions of Chapter 18.32 not cited or shown in bold red text or strike through type are not changed. SECTION THREE: This Ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days following its passage and adoption and shall be published, one time within fifteen (15) days upon passage and adoption in the Campbell .Express, a newspaper of general- circulation in the City of Campbell, County of Santa Clara. The valuation of the proposed work exceeds _ $185,000.00 (valuation calculated using established Valuation Tables published by the International Code Council (ICC) and modified by the Building Division); 2.. 75% or more of the roof framing (Area) is proposed to be removed; 3. 75% or more of exterior walls (Lineal Footage of Wall) are removed or replace with new walls; , 4. 75% or more of interior walls (Lineal Footage of Wall) are removed, replaced or relocated. Section 18.32.020 Process of Appeal In the event that an applicant disagrees with the findings above, an appeal can be made to the Building Board of Appeal. The results of all appeals shall be final.
