BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL RECOGNIZING
CHERYL HOUTS FOR HER SERVICE
AS COMMUNITY LIBRARIAN
WHEREAS, Cheryl Houts began her career with the Santa Clara County Library System
in 1991 and has served in various positions including .Children's Program Librarian and
Community Library Supervisor at the Los Altos Library; and
WHEREAS, Cheryl Houts was named Community Librarian at the Campbell Library in
2008 and is responsible for overall program management and coordination of the
Campbell Library, supervision of library staff, and primary liaison to the City of Campbell in
issues dealing with the Campbell Library; and
WHEREAS, Cheryl Houts has a been a resident of Campbell for 28 years and regularly
volunteers at Campbell events and festivals and is a member of the County Woman's
Club of Campbell.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Couhcil of the City of Campbell
hereby expresses its appreciation to Cheryl Houts for her service to the residents of the
City of Campbell in her role as Community Librarian.
