CC Resolution 11625RESOLUTION NO. ii6zs A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE COLLECTOR AND RESIDENTIAL STREET REHABILITATION PROJECT 13-BB AND DIRECTING THE FILING OF THE NOTICE OF COMPLETION WHEREAS, On May 23, 2013, the City Engineer awarded a construction contract in the amount of $1,210,183 to Valley Slurry Seal, Co., of Sacramento, California; and WHEREAS, Valley Slurry Seal, Co., completed installation of various improvements in accordance with the project plans and specifications for the Collector and Residential Streets Rehabilitation Project 13-BB; and . WHEREAS, approximately $79,000 of pavement maintenance funds remains unspent in the project budget. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell hereby accepts the improvements constructed by Valley Scurry Seal, Co., for the Collector and Residential Street Rehabilitation Project 13-BB, directs the City Engineer to file the Notice of Completion, and approves a future budget adjustment transferring the remaining balance of funds from Project 13-BB to the subsequent annual pavement maintenance project.
