RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF RECREATION AND COMMUNITY SERVICES
TO ISSUE A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) FOR CONTRACT
TRANSPORTATION SERVICES TO SUPPORT THE RECREATION DAY CAMP
PROGRAM AND TO AWARD A CONTRACT TO THE LOWEST RESPONSIVE
BIDDER
WHEREAS, the day camp program is a revenue based program and expenses
associated with the program are funded in the ahnual Recreation and Community
Services, Special Interest Budget; and
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell's Purchasing Policy requires a formal bidding process
be used to award contracts greater than twenty-five thousand dollars; and
WHEREAS, the current contract is set to expire in Ap~ill 2014;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council authorizes the Director of
Recreation and Community Services to issue an RFP for transportation services for the -
day camp program and to award the contract to the lowest responsive bidder.
