A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO SET A RATE FOR THE
ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING STATIONS IN CAMPBELL
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell received ten (10) electric vehicle charging stations
through the ChargePoint America Program at no cost; and
WHEREAS, the City has experienced an increased use of the charging stations, and
the City must now assume the costs of operation and maintenance and,,an annual
licensing fee per charging port.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
does hereby authorize the Public Works Director to set the current rate of $0.25/kWh, in
effect 24 hours/day and an additional hourly rate of $0.30/hour, in effect daily from 8
a.m. to 8 p.m. effective July 1,2014, for use of the ChargePoint charging stations
placed throughout the City's public parking facilities.
