A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
COMMENDING SANDY DEAR FOR TWENTY-FIVE YEARS OF SERVICE
WHEREAS, Sandy Dear was hired by the City of Campbell on September 5, 1988 as a Senior
Clerk-Typist in the Public Works Department; and
WHEREAS, Sandy Dear transferred to the Recreation and Community Services Department one
May 21, 1991 and was promoted to Executive Assistant on July 8, 2002; and
WHEREAS, Sandy Dear served for many years as the lead on the Activity Guide and was the
point person for the RecWare Safari registration software; and
WHEREAS, Sandy Dear coordinated the Department's successful Early Bird Registration event
where over 800 customers were registered for summer camps during this one day event; and
WHEREAS, Sandy Dear provided excellent customer service to all who visited the Campbell
Community Center; and
WHEREAS, Sandy Dear assisted the Parks and Recreation Commission and Civic
Improvement Commission; and
WHEREAS, Sandy Dear supports the Campbell community through her work and volunteerism
at special events including the Fun Runs, Summer Concert Series, Dance Recital, Storytime
with Santa and the community Toy Program; and
WHEREAS, Sandy Dear truly cares for the people she works with and treats them like family
through her friendship, generosity and warmth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell does
hereby express its appreciation to Sandy Dear for twenty-five years of loyal and dedicated
service and offers it best wishes for a fulfilling retirement.
