A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS AND CALL FOR BIDS FOR A NEW 2015 CASE DV26
VIBRATORY ROLLER, AND A NEW 2015 FORD F250 REGULAR CAB PICK-UP WITH
AN EIGHT-FOOT SERVICE BODY(Resolution/Roll Call Vote)
WHEREAS, staff is requesting the procurement of a new 2015 Case DV26 Vibratory Roller
Tier 4 Interim Certified and a new 2015 Ford F250 Regular Cab 4X2 XL with an eight-foot
Service Body. Both units are funded in the FY 2014/15, Vehicle and Equipment
Maintenance Budget; and
WHEREAS, the estimated fair market value for each new piece of equipment is greater
than $25,000; therefore, Council approval is required; and
WHEREAS, the 2015 Case DV26 Vibratory Roller and 2015 Ford F250 Regular Cab with
an eight-foot service body have been identified as suitable equipment for the purposes
outlined in the preceding report; and
WHEREAS, the purchase of the 2015 Case DV26 Vibratory Roller and a new 2015 Ford
F250 Regular Cab with an eight-foot service body, will not exceed a total of $85,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council approve specifications and
call for bids for one new 2015 Case DV26 Vibratory Roller, Tier 4 Interim Certified and a
new 2015 Ford F250 regular cab 4x2 XL with an eight-foot service body.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council hereby authorizes the Public Works
Director to award the contract for procurement of this equipment.
