CC Resolution 11753RESOLUTION NO. 11753 BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE.CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL DECLARING CANVASS OF RETURNS AND RESULT OF GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2014 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Campbell duly called and ordered held in said City a General Municipal Election on the 4th day of November, 2014 for the purpose of submitting to the qualified electors thereof the election of three City Councilmembers. WHEREAS, said General Municipal Election was held on Tuesday, November 4, 2014, and in accordance with the law and the votes thereat received and canvassed, and the returns thereof ascertained, determined and declared in all respects as required by law. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT .RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Campbell as follows: 1. That the City Clerk of the City of Campbell be and she is hereby instructed to enter this resolution on the minutes of the City Council as a statement of the result of said election. 2. That the whole number of ballots cast in said City at said General Municipal Election was 10,524, or 50.7%. 3. That at said election the following candidates were submitted to the electors of said City and that the number of votes given in said City for each of said candidates were as follows: CANDIDATE (City Councip TOTAL VOTES Liz Gibbons ~ 4,627 Paul Resnikoff 4,146 Jeffrey Cristina 4,108 Rich Waterman 3,904 Phil Reynolds, Jr. 2,855 Celeste Flores 2,607 4. That by said Resolution calling said General Municipal Election for said City of Campbell was divided into twenty-four (24) voting precincts for the purpose of said election, and that the number of votes cast in each of said precincts was as attached hereto and made a part hereof and marked "Exhibit A." 5. That all vote by mail ballots have been duly received and canvassed in time for and in the manner required by law, and the result is outlined in "Exhibit A." 6. That the following candidates elected are: CITY COUNCIL (3~ Seats) Liz Gibbons Paul Resnikoff Jeffrey Cristina 7. That the terms of office shall be for a four (4) year term, expiring November 6, 2018.
