A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
FOR AUTHORIZATION TO DISPENSE WITH THE
FORMAL BID PROCESS AND AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR
TO PURCHASE THREE RIDE-ON MOWERS
WHEREAS, mowers are funded in the FY 20014/15 Vehicle and Equipment
Maintenance Operating Budget for $52,500 and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department received three informal bids for the ride-on
mowers pursuant to Campbell Municipal Code 3.20.050 and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Campbell has the authority to dispense with
the formal bid process pursuant to Campbell Municipal Code 3.20.30 Section 8
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
hereby authorizes the Public Works Director to dispense with the formal bid process
and to purchase three ride-on mowers from Gardenland, a business located in the City
of Campbell.
