A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
FOR APPROVAL OF SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZATION TO PURCHASE
TWO NEW 2015 FORD F SERIES PICKUP TRUCKS
WHEREAS, staff is requesting the procurement of a new 2015 Ford F250 regular cab
pick-up 4x2 XL with an eight foot service body and a new 2015 Ford F350 regular cab
pickup with dump bed; and
WHEREAS, the Ford F250 and F350 have been identified as suitable equipment for the
purposes outlined in the preceding report; and
WHEREAS, both units are funded in the FY 2014/15 Vehicle and Equipment
Maintenance Budget and will not exceed a total of $73,000• and
WHEREAS, the estimated fair market value for each new piece of equipment is greater
than $25,000• therefore Council approval is required.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council approves the
specifications and call for bids for a new 2015 Ford F250 regular cab pick-up 4x2 XL
with an eight foot service body and a new 2015 Ford F350 regular cab with dump bed
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council hereby authorizes the Public Works
Director to award the contract for procurement of this equipment to the lowest
responsible bidder
