BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL CONGRATULATING
LEONARD CINO, 2014 CITIZEN OF THE YEAR
WHEREAS, Leonard Cino was selected by the Campbell Chamber of Commerce as 2014
Citizen of the Year in recognition of his many years of volunteer service to the Campbell
community and will be honored on March 21 2015 at the annual 'Celebrate Campbell"
banquet; and
WHEREAS, Leonard Cino, a lifetime Campbell resident, served in the U S. Navy for twenty
years and has been a small business owner for the past fifteen years; and
WHEREAS, Leonard Cino, has served on the Campbell Chamber of Commerce Board of
Directors for eight years; and
WHEREAS, Leonard Cino has an impressive record of volunteerism in the Campbell
community and has been a festival volunteer for the past twenty years working every position
leading to Chairman for Campbell Chamber Festivals for the last six years; and
WHEREAS, Leonard Cino is a member of the Campbell Rotary Club, and served on their
Board of Directors as Club Secretary under two presidents; and
WHEREAS, Leonard Cino is a member of Silicon Valley Entrepreneurs Club's Leadership
Team, and is a past member of the Santa Clara County Association of Realtors (SCCAOR)
Business and Technology Development Committee.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
congratulate Leonard Cino on being named Campbell's 2014 Citizen of the Year and recognize
his long standing service to the Campbell community and involvement in community and civic
projects.
