A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A REPLACMENT POLICE PATROL UNIT
AND APPROVAL OF A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT ,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Campbell has adopted a Fiscal Year
2015/2016 operating budget; and,
WHEREAS, the City has incurred an accident loss; and
WHEREAS, replacement of this unit is recommended as motorcycle units are critical to
regular Police Department duties; and,
WHEREAS, revenue has been allocated for the replacement of this unit in the FY
2015/16 Motor Pool Fund; and
- ~ WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has recently procured three Honda ST1300PA Police
Motorcycles from Hollister Power Sports through the approved bidding process; and
WHEREAS, the Police Department has selected the Honda ST1300PA as their
preferred motorcycle unit for marked patrol operations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
hereby authorizes the Public Works Director to purchase one (1) Honda ST1300PA
motorcycle pursuant to section 3.20.070 of the Campbell Municipal Code and approves
the attached budget adjustment in the amount of $27,250.
