A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
ACCEPTING IMPROVMENTS AND AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF THE NOTICE OF
COMPLETION - STOJANOVICH FAMILY PARK PROJECT NO. 08-10
WHEREAS, on September 4, 2007, the City Council authorized the City Manager to
execute a purchase agreement fora 1.32 acre property at 316 Union Avenue for the
development of a public park; and
WHEREAS, on November 18, 2008, the City Council authorized the issuance of a
request for proposals (RFP) for conceptual design services and authorized the Public
Works Director to negotiate and execute a consultant services agreement for the new
public park design; and
WHEREAS, the firm of Callander Associates was selected for the conceptual design
services; and
WHEREAS, on May 4, 2010, the City Council approved the final conceptual design of
the Stojanovich Family Park project (08-10) and authorized the Public Works Director to
negotiate and execute a consultant services agreement with Callander Associates for
developing the construction documents for the project; and
WHEREAS, on February 15, 2011 Council approved the Plans and Specifications and
authorized the solicitation of bids for the project; and
WHEREAS, on May 17, 2011 the City Council adopted Resolution No. 11286 awarding
the construction contract for Stojanovich Family Park, which included the three year
extended plant establishment and maintenance provision, to Perma-Green
Hydroseeding, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, construction of the park was substantially completed and a grand opening
ceremony was held on December 1, 2011; and
WHEREAS, the three year plant establishment period ended April 1, 2015. All .work
associated with Project 08-10 has been completed in accordance with the plans and
specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
hereby accepts the improvements coristructed by Perma-Green Hydroseeding Inc., for
the Stojanovich Family Project No. 08-10 and authorizes the City Engineer to file the
Notice of Completion.
