BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF CAMPBELL RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A
ZONE CHANGE OF THE ZONING MAP PER EXHIBIT "A' FROM
PD (PLANNED DEVELOPMENT) to PD-H (PLANNED
DEVELOPMENT/HISTORIC OVERLAY) ON PROPERTY LOCATED
AT 81 N. FIRST STREET IN A PD (PLANNED DEVELOPMENT)
ZONING DISTRICT. FILE NO. ZC 93-06.
After notification and public hearing as specified by law on the application for
approval of a Zone Change from PD (Planned Development) to PD-H (Planned
Development/Historic Overlay) on property located at 81 N. First Street in a PD
(Planned Development) Zoning District, as per the application filed in the Planning
Department; and, after presentation by the Planning Staff, proponents and opponents,
the hearing was closed.
After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Planning Commission finds as
follows with regard to Application No. ZC 93-04:
1. The proposed Zone Change from PD to PD-H will help preserve and protect the
historic characteristic of this property.
2. This Historic combining District will not impair the orderly development of this
area for residential use.
Based upon the foregoing findings of fact, the Planning Commission further finds and
concludes that:
1. The property has unique and spedal characteristics.
2. The proposal will be consistent with the General Plan.
3. The proposal will aid in the harmonious development of the immediate area.

vote:
