A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
FOR APPROVAL OF SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZATION TO PURCHASE A
NEW 2016 FORD F450 SERIES PICKUP TRUCK
WHEREAS, staff is requesting the procurement of a new 2016 Ford F450 regular cab pickup with
dump bed; and
WHEREAS, the Ford F450 has been identified as suitable equipment for the purposes outlined in
the preceding report; and
WHEREAS, this unit is funded in the FY 2015/16, Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance Budget
and will not exceed a total of $70,000; and
WHEREAS, the estimated fair market value for each new piece of equipment is greater than
$25,000; therefore, Council approval is required.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council approves the specifications and
call for bids for a new 2016 Ford F450 regular cab with dump bed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council hereby authorizes the Public Works Director
to award the contract for procurement of this equipment to the lowest responsible bidder.
