A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE FINANCE DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
WITH COLLECTION BUREAU OF AMERICA
WHEREAS, on October 20th 2015, the Campbell City Council authorized the
Finance Department to issue a Request for Proposals from Collection
Agencies to collect fees on behalf ofthe City; and
WHEREAS, proposals were solicited from companies that were known to the City
or having performed similar work with other municipalities; and
WHEREAS, on November 25th 2015, proposals were received from four firms; and
WHEREAS, after review of the proposals staff selected Collection Bureau of
America to collect fees on behalf of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE R RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Campbell hereby authorizes the Finance Director to execute a no cost contract
with Collection Bureau of America to collect fees on behalf of the City.
