A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
COMMENDING MICHELLE QUINNEY FOR 26 YEARS OF SERVICE
WHEREAS, Michelle Quinney began her career with- the City of Campbell in 1989 as an
Associate Civil Engineer and was promoted to Sr. Civil Engineer in 1991. She was appointed to
the City Engineer position in 1996; and '
WHEREAS, Michelle has been instrumental in many projects in the City including overseeing all
CIP Projects, managing the Annual Street and Sidewalk Maintenance Program, the Lighting and
Landscaping District and the City's Pavement Management Program; and
WHEREAS, Michelle's major accomplishments include the very complicated Heritage Theatre
and Community Center Improvement Project, East Campbell Avenue Improvement Project,
Stojanovich Family Park, the .Orchard City Banquet Hall Renovation, Winchester Boulevard
Improvement Project, Hacienda Avenue Green Street Improvement Project and the Campbell
Avenue Portals Project; and
WHEREAS, other accomplishments include the Ainsley House Relocation, Bascom Avenue
Improvement Project, Downtown Parking Garage, Edith Morley Park, Jack Fischer Park,
Highway 85 Coordination and establishing Community Facility Districts in the City; and
WHEREAS, Michelle has led her team with compassion, integrity and a great sense of humor;
and
WHEREAS, Michelle Quinney retired from the City of Campbell on December 30, 2015.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell does
hereby express its appreciation to Michelle Quinney for her valuable service and many
contributions to the City of Campbell, and wishes her all the best in all future endeavors. Her
service is appreciated and her accomplishments countless.
PASSED AND ADOPTED, this 2nd day of February, 2016 by the City Council of the City of
Campbell, California, by the following vote:
