A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE RECREATION AND COMMUNITY SERVICES DIRECTOR TO
ISSUE A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR AN
AQUATIC FACILITY AUDIT AND TO AWARD SUBSEQUENT CONTRACT TO THE
MOST QUALIFIED RESPONDENT
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell Recreation and Community Services Department
offers a variety of aquatics programs at the Community Center pool; and
WHEREAS, the Community Center pool was constructed in the early 1950's and
information is needed to better plan 'for upcoming maintenance projects and
improvements; and
WHEREAS, the City Council approved and allocated funds in the 2016-17 budget for a
Capital Improvement Project for an Aquatics Facility Audit; and
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell's Municipal Code 3.20.050 requires a formal bidding
process to be used to award contracts greater than twenty-five thousand dollars; and
WHEREAS, the City of .Campbell's Municipal Code 3.20.091 allows Requests for
Proposals to be utilized for services and supplies that are technical in nature;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Recreation and Community Services
Director is hereby authorized to issue a Request for Proposals for professional services
for an Aquatic Facility Audit and to award a contract to the most qualified respondent to
the Request for Proposals.
