CC Resolution 12079RESOLUTION NO. 12079 BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT SETTING FORTH TERMS UNDER WHICH THE CITY OF CAMPBELL MAY ACCEPT THE 2016 EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT PERFORMANCE GRANT FROM THE COUNTY OF SANTA CLARA WHEREAS, the County of Santa Clara Office of Emergency Services (SCC OES) applied for the 2016 Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG) on behalf of the City of Campbell; WHEREAS, SCC OES was awarded the 2016 EMPG by the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES); WHEREAS, the City of Campbell was awarded $4,800 by SCC OES to purchase replacement laptops for our Emergency Operations Center (EOC); WHEREAS, the interested parties have negotiated a proposed agreement to address their respective obligations and liabilities; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Campbell that the City Manager is authorized to execute an agreement that substantially conforms to the terms and provisions set forth in the Agreement and Exhibits attached to this Resolution.
