A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
COMMENDING DEBBIE CIFELLI FOR OVER 17 YEARS OF SERVICE
TO THE CITY OF CAMPBELL UPON HER RETIREMENT
WHEREAS, Debbie's career with the City of Campbell began August 1, 1988 as a
temporary clerk in the Redevelopment Agency; and
WHEREAS, Debbie provided clerical support for RDA activities including managing the
annual Business Appreciation Lunch; supporting housing program activities and
tracking Community Center lease payments and responding to tenant requests; and
WHEREAS, in November, 2003, Debbie began working half time in Building
Maintenance as a clerical assistant where she processed contract vendor purchase
orders and helped coordinate building maintenance assignments; and
WHEREAS, following the dissolution of the Redevelopment Agency in 2010, Debbie
joined the administrative staff in the Public Works Maintenance Division where she is
' currently an Office Assistant, serving as the Interim Executive Assistant; and
WHEREAS, Debbie has served on the Campbell Municipal Employee Board for a total
of six years, two years each as Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. She has also
served on numerous holiday luncheon and summer picnic committees as well as on the
Employee Wellness Committee; and
WHEREAS, Debbie has continuously provided excellent customer service to the
residents of Campbell and her coworkers.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
does hereby express its appreciation to Debbie Cifelli for 17 years of loyal and valuable
service and best wishes for a fulfilling retirement.
