~ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
COMMENDING JAMES LANSER FOR OVER 19 YEARS OF SERVICE
TO THE CITY OF CAMPBELL UPON HIS RETIREMENT
WHEREAS, James's career with the City of Campbell began June 2, 1997 as a
temporary Street Maintenance Worker in the Public Works Department, Maintenance
Division; and
WHEREAS, James worked in the Streets Section for 9.5 years repairing City roads,
painting crosswalks, making and installing signs and operating heavy equipment; and
WHEREAS, James worked in the Parks Section for 10 years in the maintenance of
Virginia, John D. Morgan, and Jack Fischer Parks; and
WHEREAS, James worked in the Parks Section right of way crew and tree crew
maintaining the City's medians, right of ways and City trees; and
WHEREAS, James has continuously provided excellent customer service to the
residents of Campbell and has been an example of dedicated service and a friend to his
coworkers.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
does hereby express its appreciation to James Lanser for 19 years of loyal and valuable
service and best wishes for a fulfilling retirement.
