A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, AUTHORIZING SOLICITATION OF
BIDS, AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO AWARD THE
CONTRACT, AND OTHER ASSOCIATED ACTIONS FOR THE
JACK FISCHER PARK IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, staff completed a public outreach survey to solicit input from Jack Fischer
Park users; and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Commission recommends City Council move
forward with this project; and
WHEREAS, Project 17-GG and Project 15-GG include sufficient funding; and
WHEREAS, staff has developed the final plans and specifications for the Jack Fischer
Park Improvement Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the Campbell hereby:
1. Approves the plans and specifications for the Jack Fischer Park Improvement
Project;
2. Authorizes the solicitation of bids;
3. Authorizes the Public Works Director to award a construction contract and
encumber a 10% construction contingency in an amount not to exceed $385,000;
and
4. Authorizes the City Engineer to negotiate and execute contract change orders up
to and within the 10% construction contingency in an amount not to exceed
$385,000.
