A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
ACCEPTING THE IMPROVEMENTS CONSTRUCTED BY
GHILOTTI CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR THE EAST CAMPBELL AVENUE
PORTALS PROJECT 11-EE, DIRECTING THE FILING OF THE NOTICE OF
COMPLETION, AND AUTHORIZING THE FINANCE DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE A
BUDGET ADJUSTMENT
WHEREAS, on August 1, 2014, the Director of Public Works awarded a construction
contract to Ghilotti Construction Company for the construction of the East Campbell
Portals Project 11 EE; and
WHEREAS, Ghilotti Construction Company completed installation of various
improvements in accordance with the project plans and specifications for the East
Campbell Portals Project 11 EE; and
WHEREAS, $62,479 in Transportation Development Act (TDA) Funds from Campbell
Bicycle and Pedestrian Improvements Projects 15-BB and 17-CC and $70,422 in Public
Works Operating Budget funds have been identified to offset project expenditures; and
WHEREAS, a budget adjustment has been prepared for transferring $62,479 from TDA
funding and $70,422 from the Public Works Operating Budget into the East Campbell
Avenue Portals Project 11-EE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
hereby accepts the improvements constructed by Ghilotti Construction Company for the
East Campbell Avenue Portals Project 11-EE, directs the City Engineer to file the Notice
of Completion, and authorizes the Finance Director to execute a budget adjustment in
the amount of $132,901.
